Tacchini Tako Coffee Table Designed by Cini Boeri

Tako by Cini Boeri, reissued by Tacchini on the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2025, is much more than a simple coffee table: it is a design gesture that reflects an ethical and functional philosophy of daily living. Born in the 1970s, Tako embodies the radically modern vision of the Milanese designer, who sees domestic objects as instruments of autonomy and well-being, capable of adapting naturally to the gestures and needs of contemporary living.

Conceived not as a piece of furniture but as "a plane to be used," Tako is a versatile, welcoming element, ready to transform itself according to its use: a coffee table, a support surface, an extension of the sofa, or a simple meeting point for conviviality. Its four tubular chrome-plated steel legs support a wide top at a minimum height from the floor - in keeping with Boeri's research into the informality of oriental seating and the idea of a fluid, reconfigurable home.

Available in two sizes, today Tako is re-proposed in its original version with a white lacquered wood top and in a refined variant with a top in ceppo cremo marble, a material strongly linked to Milanese architectural identity, which lends an aura of timeless elegance to the project.
