Tartan is a ceiling lamp designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba and produced by the brand Foscarini.
Tartan is a ceiling lamp that seduces the eye with its fascinating and unique shapes and light. The refinement of its glass diffuser combined with the craftsmanship make it a unique lamp, able to enhance any type of place. Its spherical shape and the irregularity of its glass surface, composed of several raised segments that create a series of square and rectangular shapes, allow the light source to obtain a captivating play of light and shadow, projecting a light suitable for any kind of environment. Placed in a living room, bedroom or dining room, Tartan will make the atmosphere always unique and incomparable.

Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba's design stands out for its sensitive approach creating a perfect mix among past, present, and future. The common desire to realize durable and essential objects made them establish Palomba Serafini Associati in Milan in1994, the city in which Roberto works as Politecnico University professor in Industrial Design course. Since that moment, the couple sees the ascent toward success winning several awards such as Compasso D'Oro, Elle Decoration International Design Award, Red Dot, Design Plus, Good Design Award, German Design Award and collaborating with the biggest international design brands. Currently, they work in their studio and design projects to show their creations worldwide.
