Matteo Thun is a designer and architect born in Bolzano in 1952, his artistic concept focuses on the creation of connections between a linear, expressively pure object, space and its inhabitants. He studied at the Salzburg Academy and graduated in architecture at the University of Florence. He boasts some great professional connections, such as the one with Ettore Sottass which led him to the co-creation of the Memphis Group. Before founding his studio, he also worked as a professor in Vienna.
