Flos Toio Limited Edition Floor Lamp Designed by Achille Castiglioni

Flos celebrates the centennial from architect Achille Castiglioni’s birth with a limited edition of the iconic Toio floor lamp, designed in 1962. Made of steel, LED reflector.

A lamp that has marked the history of design, a collectible piece. The Toio lamp by Flos, designed by the Castiglioni brothers, is proposed in a stunning Limited Edition in a numbered series of 2,500 pieces. This lamp provides indirect light and takes its name from the distortion of the term “toy”. With Toio, Flos brings the magic of this subject into the adult world. Its revolutionary value lies in the combination of ready-made industrial items: a 300 watt car headlight, imported at the beginning of the 1960 from the United States, and a telescopic stem inspired by a fishing rod. The limited edition of the Toio floor lamp features a new LED reflector, which faithfully respects the original headlight-shape, a special matt black embossed finish of the steel base and the transformer, exceptionally painted in black too. Each Limited Edition piece is certified by a holographic label that guarantees the serial number and its absolute unique nature.
