Touch Down Unit is a workstation designed by Studio Klass for Molteni & C. In this version, it is proposed with metal structure painted with bronze powder with door predisposed for electrification, shell veneered in solid Canaletto walnut, top in solid Canaletto walnut.

Touch Down Unit was created to furnish and complete dynamic and current work environments, where ease of movement is essential to allow for an increasingly smart activity. Today it finds a new identity also within domestic spaces: private apartments have recently been transformed into new offices, smart-working is an existing condition, and for this reason, the area of the home dedicated to working hours must also be made functional and welcoming.

TDU is an intimate, personal place to store the tools to carry out your activities, perfect for positioning the laptop and recharging electronic devices in all ease, thanks to the rechargeable battery equipped with USB sockets. Its extreme versatility allows you to work seated, on an armchair, chair, or stool, or standing, with the adjustable height of the top.

The mobile unit has a metal structure consisting of a base with a central upright fixed to it. The upright also supports the structure of the worktop, which features vertical and horizontal sliding devices that allow the user to adjust the height and position of the worktop so that it is comfortable and ergonomic for every type of activity. The unit has a compartment where a rechargeable power bank can be inserted. The central structural upright is accessorised also with USB ports where electronic devices can be charged. To facilitate moving the workstation about the office the base is on concealed 360° swivel castors.
