The Vidalenta outdoor furniture collection by Cassina, designed by Patricia Urquiola, defines a modular system based on formal balance, structural lightness, and compositional flexibility. Conceived to adapt to different contexts—from urban terraces to Mediterranean verandas—the series combines a lightweight metal structure with removable, slipcovered cushions, simplifying maintenance and seasonal management. Carefully calibrated proportions and design coherence allow the creation of informal, continuous environments in which each element interacts harmoniously within the overall composition.

The Vidalenta bench offers a clear synthesis of the collection’s approach, interpreting outdoor seating as a multifunctional and adaptable surface. In addition to the configuration with a pair of cushions, the bench can be completed with three different types of tops, each paired with a cushion to expand its range of uses: Roman Travertine, Fluted Glass with Ceramic Enamel, and solid Iroko wood.
