MORPHO Vime Armchair - Outdoor Designed by Great Library Design Studio

The Morpho collection was born from the encounter between the scenographic imagination of Tomorrowland and the artisanal mastery of Ethnicraft, under the creative direction of Great Library Design Studio led by Dieter Vander Velpen. Presented at the 2025 Salone del Mobile, it is inspired by biomorphism, translating the forms of dragonfly wings and natural branching into furnishings with fluid, harmonious lines. Seating, tables, and accessories stand out for their balanced combination of materials: solid wood with strong grain, stone engraved with Voronoi-inspired motifs, hand-sculpted metal details, and leathers and fabrics chosen for their rich tactile textures. Each piece is crafted using traditional techniques, highlighting manual expertise and the careful selection of raw materials. The collection is conceived for both residential and contract spaces, such as boutique hotels or lounge areas, offering furnishings that go beyond function to create an immersive experience. Morpho interprets furniture as a visual and sensory language, uniting nature, architecture, and storytelling in a coherent whole, where each element interacts with the space and its inhabitants.

Designed for outdoor living, the Vime armchair evokes the natural gesture of intertwined branches, fitting seamlessly into terraces, gardens, and open-air spaces. Its teak or black teak frame withstands weather conditions, while the cord weave creates a visual rhythm that balances solidity with transparency. The removable outdoor cushions provide comfort while preserving the purity of the design. Vime thus becomes a dedicated place for open-air rest, blending resilience and ease within an essential, harmonious profile.
