MORPHO Vime Armchair Designed by Great Library Design Studio

The Morpho collection emerges from the encounter between Tomorrowland’s scenographic vision and Ethnicraft’s artisanal mastery, under the creative direction of Great Library Design Studio led by Dieter Vander Velpen. Presented at the 2025 Salone del Mobile, it draws inspiration from biomorphism, translating the shapes of dragonfly wings and natural branching into furniture pieces with fluid, harmonious lines. Chairs, tables, and accessories stand out for their balanced combination of materials: solid wood with pronounced grain, stone engraved with Voronoi-inspired patterns, hand-sculpted metallic details, and leathers and fabrics selected for their rich and tactile texture. Each piece is crafted using traditional techniques, highlighting hand workmanship and a meticulous choice of raw materials. The collection is designed for both residential and contract spaces, such as boutique hotels or lounge areas, offering furnishings that go beyond practical function to create an immersive experience. Morpho interprets furniture as a visual and sensory language, merging nature, architecture, and storytelling into a coherent whole where every element engages with the space and its inhabitants.

Like a vine branch bending with natural elegance, the Vime armchair combines flowing lines with immediate comfort. The balanced sculptural frame embraces generous cushions that soften its profile and invite relaxation. Suitable for indoor or outdoor settings, it offers a sheltered place to enjoy quiet moments. Crafted in dark brown teak with a varnished finish, it features leather details that complete its harmonious presence.
