Gloster Wrap Dining Chair Designed by Henrik Pedersen

Henrik Pedersen has designed the Wrap collection for Gloster, developed around an idea of cosiness defined by the shape of the object itself. Seat and backrest are presented as one continuous element, tending to follow and support the body naturally. The FSC-certified teak frame is combined with a synthetic weave available in Sorrel and Umber, designed to withstand weathering without losing aesthetic coherence.

The Wrap collection includes a lounge chair and a dining chair. Both share the same formal construction, but differ in their proportions and intended use. The lounge chair, which is wider, is suitable for spaces dedicated to prolonged relaxation; the chair, which is more compact, integrates easily into convivial outdoor settings.

The cushions, upholstered in durable outdoor fabrics, maintain a measured and functional profile. The volumes are calibrated to guarantee comfort and stability, with a design that favours the continuity of lines. Wrap is distinguished by an essential construction, in which every detail responds to a precise criterion of use. A design conceived for contemporary outdoor environments, in which sobriety becomes an expressive feature and comfort translates into balance.
