Jieldé
Jieldé is a historic family-owned company of French lamps that bear the name of its founder : Jean Louis Domecq. The year was 1940 and the Industrial Revolution led to the highest levels of European design and testing technology.
Always looking for the best solutions for lighting and office work, in 1953 Domecq founded the company Jieldé. The lamp designed by J.L.Domecq soon became an icon, named Standard, knows the international success and, from Lione, begins around the world. This is how the collections Loft, Lak, Suspension and Signal, all characterized by semi-circular shape of the speaker and the characteristic metal ring. Jointed, and more resistant to one arm, made of metal and several colors, are the true icons of industrial design in France.
