Vincent Van Duysen is a designer and architect born in Lokeren, Belgium, in 1962. After graduating in Architecture in Sint-Lucas, Gand, he started soon his career collaborating with Aldo Cibic in Milan, and later with Jean De Meulder in Anvers. In 1990 he founded his first studio which counts today more than 20 collaborators. Architecture, interior design, and industrial design, all linked by the research in essentiality, that corresponds to beauty for the designer. Essentiality full of meaning, elegant minimalism with a soul: this is because Vincent loves to find order and equilibrium to the core of every project removing superfluous. Purity and simplicity are a synonym of authenticity in each of his creations. The designer received numerous awards and he has been chosen in 2016 as art director of Italian brands Molteni & C and Dada, becoming responsible for their global image through mono-brand shops. Since 2018 he is the creative director for the development of Sahco for Kvadrat project.
