Seats upholstered or covered in pleasant fabrics, which combine formal elegance and comfort of use. Not simple decorative objects, but furnishings with a solid design behind them, designed to enrich the decor, but at the same time fulfill the function for which they were chosen: to offer a comfortable and quality seat. Today, therefore, we introduce the new seats by Baleri Italia, Porro and Ritzwell, but also the other novelties proposed by the companies for 2020, with a view to a functional but beautiful home and furnishings that are consistent with each other in style and colors.

Baleri Italia

Bermuda Lounge by Baleri Italia

Paloma by Baleri Italia

Bermuda and Paloma are the two new seats of Baleri Italia. Bermuda is an armchair designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, it is characterized by truly new shapes generated by a triangular shape lowered in the center and resting on three legs. A real nest in which to relax for convivial or reading moments thanks to the wide backrest, the soft cushion and the rounded and enveloping shapes. Paloma, on the other hand, is a classic chair designed by Radice Orlandini design studio characterized by a colored metal tubular structure: in 2020 it is enriched with new variations of color and finishes. Not only chairs: Baleri Italia also introduced an extension of the range of the First table line, now also available in the coffee table and side table versions and the Concertina storage series by Claesson Koivisto Rune with sculptural geometric shapes that lighten the appearance and are discreetly decorative. The shape is inspired by the Concertina invented in 1829 by the Englishman Charles Wheatstone: it was a particular type of accordion consisting of two harmonic speakers divided by a bellows. That bellows are the inspiration for the forms of Baleri furniture, an ironic and functional furniture.

Porro

Romby by Porro

Porro also focuses on the seat and for 2020 it presents an absolute novelty: it's called Romby and was designed by the GamFratesi studio. It is a padded swivel chair but different from all the swivel chairs we are used to, thanks to its conical base and its overall appearance, sculptural and dynamic at the same time. Officially it is a dining chair, but it also works perfectly in other corners of the house. The base is in solid wood and the seat is covered in leather or fabric, the essential lines and the enhancement of the workforce are consistent with Porro's philosophy.

Ritzwell

Mo Bridge by Ritzwell

Novelties by Ritzwell

Rivage Lounge Chair (on the cover) is the armchair designed by Atelier D.Q. for Ritzwell: the essential lines and the choice of materials go back intensely to the 1950s and to the modernist style, softened by the image of the roofs of Japanese temples, which inspired the curvature of the armrests. All reinterpreted in a contemporary key and therefore with greater delicacy, soft lines and comfort. Both the upholstery and the structure are available in various finishes and the seats are suitable for both the dining table and a corner of the living room. Ritzwell also presented two other novelties: the Mo Bridge small desk designed by Shinsaku Myiamoto is a tribute to craftsmanship and materials. And the same can be said of the Mo Bridge stool, the matching seat characterized by a weave of leather, designed both for public spaces and for the domestic context. Myiamoto also designed the MT bench for Ritzwell, made, like the stool in solid wood and braided leather.
