La Cabina dell'Elba Cabinet produced by Bruno Longoni is an authentic piece of design history, the work of Aldo Rossi, an architect who revolutionised the 20th century design scene. A piece of furniture that is a must-have work of art for design collectors. Exhibited at Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan as part of the exhibition Reality 80 (2018-19), at the Milan Triennale 2022, at the Museo del Novecento in Milan at the solo show ALDO ROSSI. DESIGN 1960-1997 until October 2022.

La Cabina dell'Elba has often been placed at the centre of 20th century design exhibitions and solo shows dedicated to Aldo Rossi, because of its iconic character of the economic boom era. It is a reworking in a domestic key of a symbol of happiness, executed to a design by the well-known architect, by Bruno Longoni using top quality materials. Aldo Rossi was inspired in the creation of this cabin by the modular repetitiveness of these beach elements that are a constant in every seaside area. Rossi himself said, "The cabin is a small House: it is the reduction of the house, it is the idea of the house."
