Brionvega, an Italian electronics company, began its production in the early 1960s. Two of its initial products were the out of the ordinary portable TVs ‘Doney’ and ‘Algol’, closely followed in 1965 by the revolutionary radio and record player RR226 created by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. In 1969 the design classic TV ‘Cubo’ by Mario Bellini was launched. The brand’s aim is to create timeless symbols of Made in Italy industrial design, products with their own unconventional personalities
