Founded in 2008 by Faye Toogood, the London based design studio Toogood delivers its unique creative approach across a diverse range of creative fields including interior design, homeware, fine art and fashion. With a liberal and highly eclectic cross-functional approach to design, which involves collaborations with architects, sculptors, furniture makers and illustrators, the studio has brought to fruition several iconic furniture pieces such as the Roly-Poly, Puffy and Spade chairs.

A focus of the Toogood design studio is a respect and appreciation for the raw materials adopted in the production of the handmade furniture pieces. From raw fibreglass to aluminium and Barium crystal, each material is carefully handled by artisans to create rigorous, poetic and forward-thinking elements that reflect the studio’s organic approach to design. Several works have been exhibited in museums including the V&A in London and Milan’s Triennale and included in permanent art collections around the world.
