Jørn Utzon
Jørn Utzon (1918 –2008) was a Danish architect most famous for his award-winning Sydney Opera House design. His extensive career was heavily infuenced by an early encounter with Frank Lloyd Wright and a series of global cultural experiences which shaped his architectural works including his own Can Lis house. One of his most famous lighting creations is the Concert suspension lamp for Fritz Hansen, a curved layered construction echoing in name and form the iconic Australian Opera House landmark.
An award winning architect who received, amongst other accolades, the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2003.
