The creative use of colors and materials characterize the exclusive design of Gaetano Pesce. Born in La Spezia in 1939, he is a designer, architect and Italian sculptor. He graduated in architecture at IUAV in Venice and later he attended the industrial institute in the city. His will to compare himself with other national and international artistic trends make him found the Group "N" in 1959. He lived in Padova, Venice, London, Helsinki, Paris and, since 1980, he lives in New York, the city in which he can express his artistic personality at its best. In 1996 he created the Fish Design: resin becomes the protagonist in the vases and other articles collections creating unique and unparalleled pieces. His style is strong in the iconic Up armchair in collaboration with B&B Italy, shown in the most important museums all over the world. Pesce collaborated with Cassina, Meritalia and Corsi Design too.
