Marcel Breuer
Marcel Breuer stays between designers and architects that made '90s history. Born in 1902 a Pécs in Hungary, he studied art in Wien and later he interrupted his studies to access “Staatliches Bauhaus" school in Weimar. After a period in Paris, he came back to the Bauhaus school as a professor. During the Nazi period was forced to move to England and then he started to teach architecture at Harvard University. Among the most important collaborations, the one with Thonet and Knoll produced collections of tables, chairs, and armchairs of timeless design. Marcel Breuer died in New York in 1981 leaving a mark in the design history.
