B&B Italia Blitz Table Limited Edition

Blitz is a table designed by Mario Bellini for the B&B Italia brand. A love at first sight that stands out as the absolute protagonist of the environment.

The Blitz table is imposing and sculptural, a skilful mix of lightness and strength. Its slender geometric structure is supported, along its entire length, only by the legs bent at both ends. The entire structure is made of bamboo wood, a material chosen for its lightness but also for its rapid growth that respects sustainability criteria, giving it an exotic touch. Inside the table, instead, we discover a soft black finish with a shellac effect in contrast with the light tones of the wood. Ideal in large co-working space or hospitality space solutions but also in living rooms with 8 seats. The table is made up of several elements in order to simplify transport and access to any environment.

Blitz will be produced in a limited and numbered edition of only 100 copies.

The combination of bamboo strips creates a pleasant irregular pattern on the surface of the table, where changes in color tone and direction of the grain are typical of the construction technique.

It should be noted that wood is a living material and small changes over time such as cracks in the solid wood, color variations and small pores are the tangible testimony of its naturalness and are therefore to be considered as merits, fundamental elements of the raw material.
