Repose Bar Stool is an exclusive seat produced by Jover Valls in Spain. The entire Repose collection to which it belongs is a tribute to a design classic, which has been stylishly reinterpreted, bringing together the high quality craftsmanship and carefully selected materials.

Repose Bar Stool is inspired by the daily simplicity of the director's chair, whose frame is covered in precious finishes and embellished with luxurious details and premium quality materials. The diagonal elements that originally allowed the folding of the director's chair, have been replaced here by horizontal bars ensuring stability and serving as a comfortable footrest. The armrest outlining the sides of the leather seat is another distinctive feature borrowed from the original model. In these stools the exclusiveness and the elaborate workmanship become apparent in small details like the hand-turned metal nuts and bolts used for fixing the leathers or the hand-painted edges. The result is a bold furniture piece, with a masculine country charm that yet maintains an essential style suitable for any environment.



Repose Bar Stool with cold-bent steel frame produced with numerical control, subjected to galvanic and nickel plating treatments, hand polished and lacquered. Black powder-coated frame with a rubberized texture; even covering of at least 50 microns on the whole surface. Subjected to corrosion resistance test carried out in a saline chamber in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9227: 2017 e UNE-EN ISO 1456: 2010 standards. Spanish bovine hides with a 3,5 minimum thickness originated from the food industry, treated with vegetable-tanned leathers based on oils and fats from vegetable barks or fibres giving the leather great flexibility. The veins visible in the texture are typical of the folds from the hides of the animals. The available colours of the leather are: black, navy blue, dark brown, cognac and tobacco.
