Kreoo Pearl - Airpool Bathtub

Pearl is the bathtub designed by Alberto Apostoli for Kreoo. The exterior with an irregular, textured, gray finish is the exact opposite of the smooth, shiny, clear interior.

The Pearl bathtub has a design based on the evocative and aesthetic principle of the oyster, with its rough, asymmetrical outer shell concealing an elegant opaline universe. Two opposite aesthetics that interpenetrate and are enriched by the water element, in which the person can immerse himself, here a metaphor for the "pearl." The inner shell, ergonomic and made of resin with a mother-of-pearl finish, is treated with tiny holes located at the bottom of the tub from which pressurized air escapes and sets the liquid mass in motion, generating a pleasant massage sensation along the body. This effect is provided by the Airpool system, for the first time integrated into a natural stone tub, which promotes a wellness dimension, accentuated by the inclusion of a thin horizontal slit of light and its ability to release the iridescence of the surface. The outer casing is made of Olive Grey marble and reveals a textured, hand-crafted and never the same, and an edge that widens at the center on the long side to accommodate the controls. Designed for residential and hospitality environments, Pearl elevates the relationship between raw material, light, water and refined technology to poetics in a collection created for personal well-being.
