Cassina Cab Collection

Leather, with its warm and intense shades, is the absolute protagonist of the Cab collection conceived by Mario Bellini for Cassina. Cab 412 chair soon became a remarkable name on the international scene, being the first-ever leather chair. It presents a steel backbone, sixteen individually die-cut pieces of saddle leather, and stands for the pure representation of the golden age of Italian design: to quote Bellini “This was a new kind of chair, constructed totally out of leather, much cloned since then.” In time, the Cab family has grown with a selection of leather-upholstered armchairs, lounge armchairs, beds, sofas, available in a wide range of colours.
