Grupa was established in 2006 in Zagreb, Croatia, as a design studio run by Filip Despot, Ivana Pavić, and Tihana Taraba. In 2012, the company transitioned into production, launching its first collection of lamps that beautifully captured the essence of the region's design philosophy, cultural heritage, and impeccable craftsmanship. In 2009, Grupa proudly represented Croatia at the EDIDA (Elle Deco International Design Award), receiving numerous awards in the following years.
