Tommaso Cimini, the company's founder, designed the first Daphine lamp in 1975. Lumina was then founded by the lighting enthusiast in 1980. Slender, light and essential, Daphine is highly appreciated and requested by museums, libraries and designers, and its production still takes place in the company's historic workshop. Over time, Lumina has also forged important collaborations with renowned international designers.
