Venini Black Belt Collection

The Italian glass company Venini and New York-based architect Peter Marino teamed up to create the Black Belt collection, translating the designer's love for black leather straps, which he always incorporates in his looks, into a series of unique vases. Created with a technique that consists in pouring colored threads onto a transparent glass body and then blending them together, each vase features a dramatic see-through effect that juxtaposes painterly black bands with pale shades and bulbous forms.
