Kris Van Puyvelde is a designer, an entrepreneur, and also among the founders of Royal Botania, an outdoor furniture brand for which he designs new exclusive collections. Living and enhancing outdoor spaces is the sparkle that sets his creativity going. Sumptuous and refined design characterize his extraordinary projects, such as the beautiful Calypso and Organix garden furniture collections, perfect to create appealing outdoor lounges.
Kris Van Puyvelde studied engineering at the University of Antwerp, in Belgium. A few years later, in 1992 he met his former classmate Frank Boschman, with whom he decided to import teak furniture from Indonesia. Hence, the purpose of creating luxury atmospheres that allude to the natural beauty of botanical gardens: this concept led to the foundation of Royal Botania.
