Thomas Sandell

Thomas Sandell is one of the most renowned architects and designers in Sweden, known for his design, interior design and architecture projects and as the founder of one of Stockholm's best-known design and architecture studios, Sandell & Sandberg. In its activity it operates in line with the Northern European culture, inspired by respect for nature and marked by a deep commitment in terms of eco-sustainability. Sandell collaborates with brands such as B&B Italia, Artek, Asplud, Cappellini and many others.

Born in Jakobstad in Finland in 1959, Thomas Sandell graduated in Architecture from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm in 1990. In 1995 he founded the Sandellsandberg studio together with Ulf Sandberg and Joakim Uebel, taking care of important design projects with a portfolio that includes state-of-the-art schools, luxury hotels, futuristic towers and houseboats. The designer is currently involved in a number of commercial and residential projects in Scandinavia.
