What we talk about when we talk about quality? About details that make a difference? Too often we talk about research, development, quality combined with inspiration, matter and design. But how many companies can really express all this through their products?

" Poltrona Frau " succeeds, absolutely.

I am not here to talk about the history of how this great company was born, or to acclaim its masterpieces still identifiable in homes, hotels and offices all around the world. I want to share with you all the feelings and the emotions I felt talking with whom works every day the leather, with whom has learned to trust on their own hands, and found a job.

Learning and knowing how to work leather is not as simple as you may think, details that are sometimes trivial for us mere mortals, here have a precise and specific place. Manufacture stages described as a constant flow of slow, ancient, careful gestures, repeated in a timeless rhythm.

It is not just "leather", is an history, it is thought, research, it is color. A brand that has found the courage to bet on a single material, which has been able to make it really unique.

White, yellow, brown, red, green, blue, gray and black; color pigments that blend with the leather in order to satisfy the needs of many and the whims of a few. Poltrona Frau Museum is a wall with this mixture of colors that alternate to capture my attention. A perfect sequence of nuances that the Earth offers us, an emotional journey where your senses capture the magic that encloses this material with a thousand shades.

Going ahead in my itinerary I remained enchant by the mastery that surrounds every detail.

Chester, a sofa that needs more than 55 hours of careful work to be produced; solid wood, jute, biconical, vegetable hair, quilted lining, expert craftsmen who put each button by hand.

Through the corridors I was surrounded by an explosion of fragrances that mixed each other. Sweet notes joined by harsh and vibrant tones.

It is an increase of customizable design and great attention for the details, there is a sequence of “icons” that has made and going on to make the history of Poltrona Frau. 1919, Lyra, Vanity Fair, Sanluca, Dezza, Antropovarius, Overtoure, Interview.

And here we are. Contemporaneity in one word: Archibald.

Michele De Lucchi has been able to express all the values that the company wants to convey to whom has the pleasure to approach Poltrona Frau world

Poltrona Frau is also Contract, not just through the elegance that expresses excellence, but in the study of the best performances that a seat may give in an auditorium,

an automobile or a train.

Historical values and contemporary mood, elegance, comfort and prestige. Poltrona Frau is Made in Italy.
