2097/30 is a pendant lamp by Flos providing diffused light, designed by Gino Sarfatti in 1958.
And 'one of those products / icon of contemporary design that made history. Lightweight, stylish and great taste is a fine option and always present, able to "furnish" in addition to brighten up any space. Steel central structure with brass arms, both chrome or gold at the end of which is a light bulb for a total of 30 light points. Ceiling fitting and rose steel.

Born in Venice in 1912, Gino Sarfatti studied aeronautical engineering but after his first encounter with the lighting design in Milan, during an engineering project for transforming a glass vase into a lamp, he found out his passion for lighting, destined to shape his whole life. He founded the company Arteluce that starts a new way of creating lighting systems with a groundbreaking design. His double approach as engineer on one hand and as designer on the other hand reflects itself in a beautiful and functional aestethics, given by the use of innovative materials, advanced lighting technologies and production techniques. Gino Sarfatti, with the creation of over 700 lamps, is considered one of the most representative figure in the history of the Italian industrial design.
