Kartell Ami Ami Chair Designed by Tokujin Yoshioka

Inspired by the play of warp and weft of a fabric, the chair Ami Ami - whose name in Japanese literally meaning about "weaving" - stems from the desire of the designer Tokujin Yoshioka signs to play a style typical of his culture, ' plot.

The simple square lines contrast with the richness of the plot to work, evident on the inner and outer surface species and implemented through a complex industrial process that re-creates the pattern by using a single mold. Ami Ami joins the call to the eastern culture use of innovative materials such as polycarbonate and is available in two versions, transparent, crystal and smoky, and in three versions opaque, white, red and black.
