Arrangements is a modular lighting system designed by Michael Anastassiades for Flos.
Arrangements are geometrical elements that can be combined eachother in different unique compositions. Any unit joins to the others in a simply and balanced way making a lighting chain. Michael Anastassiades is a Cypriot designer who founded his studio in 1994 in London to explore the contemporary notions of culture and aesthetics through a combination of products, furniture and environmental design. His creations are at the crossroad between industrial design and decorative art and are meant to provoke dialogue, participation and interaction with those who come in close contact whith them. Especially well known for his lighting production, Anastassiades combines simple geometric shapes such as tubes, oblongs and spheres with shiny surfaces and reflective materials, such as mirrored glass and polished bronze. His lights decorate hotels, restaurants and stores worldwide.
