CH45 Rocking chair is a 1965 design by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn. Special for the comfort accentuated by the high backrest, it accompanies moments of absolute relaxation.

CH45 rocking chair joins the vast collection of seats designed by the Danish master Hans J. Wegner who, in the mid-1960s, designed an entire series of furniture for Carl Hansen & Søn consisting of 13 unique pieces. The rocking chair in FSCtm certified solid oak is perfectly proportioned, accompanying the seat in a comfortable rocking. The high backrest features shaped bars, the woven seat and the grooves in the upper part of the backrest are typical Wegner details. All surfaces are carefully hand-polished by skilled craftsmen, who also weave the seat from 213 meters of paper cord – a process that takes approximately 1.5 hours. Available with or without a set of neck and seat cushions in fabric or leather.
