Conterie Ground Floor Lamp

Conterie Ground is an elegant floor lamp designed by Italian designer Luca Nichetto and produced by the Brand Barovier&Toso.

Inspired by the "conterie" jewels of the Venetian tradition, the white porcelain elements alternate with the ochre-coloured Venetian crystal elements like precious pearls, perfectly strung one by one according to the ancient Murano tradition. The textures of the Venetian crystal differ from each other, resulting from three different craft processes, ballotòn, rigadìn and rigamenà.

Luca Nichetto is a renowned Italian designer specializing in industrial design, product design and consulting. His portfolio ranges from furniture and home décor accessories to architecture, branding and exhibitions. In 2006 he founded his own cross-disciplinary studio, Nichetto Studio, which was joined by Francesco Dompieri the following year. Five years later, he opened another practice in Stockholm. His approach focuses on a deep passion and knowledge of industrial and artisanal production processes.
