cc-tapis Cultivate Rug

Cultivate is a carpet made by Yuri Himuro for CC-Tapis. Available in two sizes and various colors.

As explained by the textile designer Yuri Himuro, the basis of his Cultivate collection is the cut, used in this situation as a technique for a creative rather than destructive process. Cultivate is in fact the daughter of Snip Snap, a new innovative textile project by the Japanese designer, a jacquard pattern whose design comes to light when the woven threads are cut, the cut in fact reveals a double structure inside the fabric. To allow the new Himuro technique to express its maximum potential, CC-Tapis has chosen an Indian fabric for the realization of this collection. The basic design allows a wide possibility of customization.
