Giacomo Moor

With a focus on form, function, and material integrity, Giacomo Moor has developed a design language that begins with wood and evolves through precision and craft. Both designer and maker, he leads a multidisciplinary studio where carpenters, architects, and designers collaborate closely on every stage of the process. His portfolio includes pieces created for leading brands such as Acerbis, Living Divani, and Cappellini, each reflecting his measured approach and distinctive material sensibility.

Born in Milan in 1981, Giacomo Moor graduated in Design with a thesis on the imperfections of wood, later featured in Abitare magazine. In 2009, he founded his own studio, where he oversees every step of the production process—from concept to final execution. His approach, blending technical ingenuity with a deep respect for materials, earned him the title of Best Young Designer at both the Salone del Mobile Award and EDIDA. His work has been exhibited in cities including Paris, London, New York, Singapore, and Porto.
