The Dioscuri lighting series, conceived by Michele De Lucchi for Artemide, reinterprets the archetype of the spherical lamp with a contemporary attitude. Available in multiple diameters, it stands out for its refined approach to essential, versatile lighting.

The project behind Dioscuri explores the interplay between purity of form and diffused illumination, resulting in a fixture that subtly integrates into various interiors. Its blown glass diffuser is acid-etched to ensure gentle, uniform light diffusion, while a discreet thermoplastic resin base secures the structure either on the wall or ceiling. This versatility is enhanced by the availability of four diameters—Ø 14 cm, Ø 25 cm, Ø 35 cm, Ø 42 cm—offering flexibility for compositions ranging from single accent pieces to captivating, modular arrangements. The minimalist design language finds harmony in both private residences and contract environments, adapting seamlessly to living rooms, corridors, or public spaces.

The larger variants of Dioscuri (Ø 25 cm and above) feature IP65 protection, extending the lamp’s potential for outdoor installations.
