Eclittica Tray
Eclittica is a centrepiece tray produced by Kimano and designed by Stella Orlandino. The designer is a rising star of design, her production is very much focused on food design and the craft techniques of southern Italy: she investigates traditions (gastronomic and material) strongly linked to the territory, transforming them into a symbolic and essential language.
Eclittica is inspired by the universe. Each tray has a perforated powder-coated steel edge. Each hole represents a star positioned in such a way as to outline all the constellations of the zodiac. The bottom, embraced by this metal orbit, is made of natural stone. Eclittica is available in a range of marbles specially chosen to remind us of the material colours of the planets of the solar system. The materials used by the Kimano brand are of the highest quality, handcrafted, not lacquered but treated with a layer of stain-protective sealant.
