Karui takes its name from the Japanese language; Karui means soft in reference to its inner part. The leather whose is made comes from tannery Swedish Tärnsjö, famous for its high quality leather. Karui in Japanese also means easy and quick, and that is what you get when you use these beautiful trays, quickly and easily. Available in three different sizes.

GamFratesi studio was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and italian architect Enrico Fratesi. GamFratesi’s design takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal and in an experimental approach to their chosen materials and techniques. Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi draw on the classic Danish furniture and craft tradition as well as the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.
