An unmissable event for design professionals and enthusiasts, IMM Cologne is also every year's first date with design. 2017 in Cologne is particularly lively, with 1,300 exhibitors from all home furnishings sectors, including participants in the biennial exhibition Living Kitchen.

This year's Das Haus, which every year reproduces a fully furnished house of 200 square meters, is designed by American Todd Bracher, while Italian companies involved in the international fair are 130 and include the most prestigious brands.

Cassina brings to IMM Cologne 2017 the, a limited edition new version of the icon signed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Produced in 400 pieces, it is distinguished by its high-quality coating, made of a South American leather with a distinctive striped pattern, a tribute to the many trips of Le Corbu and Perriand in Latin America.

B&B Italia leads in Germany three brand new outdoor Antonio Citterio projects: the outdoor version for the now famous, marked by two elegant weaving types in neutral tones, and then the Erica seats and the series of tables and chairs Ginestra, which stand out for their Nordic design inspired style.

Molteni&C arrives at IMM Cologne with a stand of over 700 square meters designed by Vincent Van Duysen like a huge house with living and dining areas and a sleeping area. In the latter one, the protagonists are the Gliss Master closets by Van Duysen, while in the living area one of the most important news is the glossy lacquer finish of the structure of by Rodolfo Dordoni. Molteni&C also curated the exhibition Vivere alla Ponti at the Italian Cultural Institute (until February 3).

Arper brings to Germany the new finishes of an already iconic collection, Catifa 46, now available in an updated range of a soft yet complex palette: rosé, petrol, yellow, ivory and turtledove grey.

Kartell pays homage to its collaboration with Antonio Citterio at their flagship store in Cologne, exposing the most famous items by the Italia designer, many of which have made the brand's history: from Gastone to Mobil, which was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 1994, and Citterio's latest work, the line of industrial tables .

Riva 1920 presents , that avoids the use of screws and relies on wooden joints. Among the new items, the table Pangea Small by Michele De Lucchi and the suggestive Earth collection of tables by Renzo and Matteo Piano.
