Bonaldo,Cattelan and MDF Italia present the new collection at Milan Design Week 2018
On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2018, presents the latest news of the Made in Italy brand that stands out for its stylistic research in which colors, shapes and mix of materials are distinctive elements. A journey through new dimensions of living, with ever more cosmopolitan suggestions and inspirations.
In the Milanese exhibition space the elements that make up the "Total Living Bonaldo" come to life: tables, chairs, accessories, sofas and beds, the expression of a constant path of the Company in terms of Research and Development towards unprecedented experiments. Path enriched with the signatures of Fabrice Berrux and Paolo Grasselli. Different backgrounds and cultures, styles that come together in a unique collection, different actors who interpret and reflect the soul of the brand under the sole direction of Bonaldo.
In the 2018 collection, Bonaldo is the author of many different stories: each product brings to memory a special memory, like a flashback, or invites you to look at life from new perspectives. Such as the Cabinet de Curiosité bookcase, the Panorama sofa and the Stone chair by Fabrice Berrux or the Art table and the Movie pouf by Gino Carollo. But we also find the Tangle table by Dondoli and Pocci; the Outline sideboard by Mazzer; and the modular sofa Madame C. by Giuseppe Viganò.
Another brand made in Italy such as Cattelan should also be taken into consideration. In the new collection there are tables, chairs, bookcases, desks, armchairs, sideboards, mirrors, lamps and even walk-in closets. A mix of objects for the interiors with a contemporary and captivating design in which wood and glass mix to enhance the elegance of each piece.
The Linus Wood, Skorpio, Planner Keramik and Skyline Keramik tables deserve special mention; the Indy, Kelly and Magda B Couture chairs; the Walk-in closet; the Arizona and Aston sideboards; the mirrors Emerald and Wish; the Fifty and Harlem bookcases; the Fisherman and Lancelot pendant lamps and the Manhattan and Sunset floor lamps. Some pieces of the 2018 collection, like the Gordon table, are also available in the outdoor version.
MDF Italia, a brand that belongs to Cassina since 2013, faces the Milan Design Week, taking its inspiration from the constant search for innovation. An elegant and contemporary design, often anticipating trends and aimed at enhancing changes as opportunities and tools for progress. Each product signed by MDF Italia shows its own identity and is made with a surprising emotional charge, mixing simplicity with a strong desire for innovation.
The Aiku Comfort and Aiku Soft chairs, created by Jean Marie Massaud, recall a vintage but always contemporary style. Available in bold colors, the chairs are perfect for a living area but also inside an office. Yale X and Yale Bed are instead a sofa with a wraparound back and a bed that recalls a minimalist style.
