Designing with kindness? It’s a trend, according to Lago, the Italian design firm that during the last Salone del Mobile launched the project “Never Stop Living Kindness”, creating 8 interiors, inspired by the personality of 8 successful women who have demonstrated that having success, with kindness, is possible.

Who are these women? The dancer Carla Fracci, the creative director of fashion brand Patrizia Pepe Patrizia Bambi, the designer and architect Cristina Celestino, the manager of Cantine Ferrari Camilla Lunelli, the author Chiara Gamberale, the volley champion Maurizia Cacciatori, the president of Bellisario Foundation Lella Golfo and the employees of Intesa Sanpaolo bank. «Design – says Daniele Lago, CEO and creative director of Lago - is a trigger for social transformations, able to improve the life that livens up them».

For Carla Fracci, the company has imagined a wide open space: a shelter for resting but also practicing her dance exercises, thanks to the Air bed and the special Air bar, in pure Lago style.

The interior inspired by Patrizia Bambi is gritty and contemporary, with the right amount of femininity: crystal and wood are the dominant accents, also in the dining area, where we find the Air T Table, with the crystal legs, and the Air Wildwood Storage.

For Cristina Celestino the atmosphere is evocative and dreamy. The pastel colors of the dining area makes a statement, together with the round Air table and the 36e8 storage composition.

Chiara Gamberale's loft is inhabited by words, with bookcases that are spacious, light, even suspended, like the Weightless system, anchored to the ceiling.

The house for volleyball player Maurizia Cacciatori has been designed as a high-altitude contemporary shelter, where she can be welcome by the white Air sofa, with its asymmetric profile.

For Lella Golfo, Lago has imagined an elegant villa in Rome, with exclusive materials and finishes, like the Air MadeTerraneo table top, in hand-painted ceramics.

Wood and material colors characterize the cozy and familiar rooms, designed for Camilla Lunelli: the Air library is spectacular, designed to unveil the surrounding natural scenery.

Finally, Lago thoughts about all the women who work with kindness and success, represented by the employees of Intesa Sanpaolo. For them, the company designed a welcoming and functional interior, ideal for both work and relax. The heart of the home life is the round Air table. Anyone can be inspired by these projects and recreate them in their own home with the same furnitures. Never Stop Living Kindness is going to end with the next Salone del Mobile, when kindness will be replaced by another value, still top secret, but always linked to empathy, a principle to which Lago feels particularly close.
