Maralunga 50 is a seating collection designed by Vico Magistretti and produced by Cassina. The series consists of several models, including the armchair, the Maxi 2-seater sofa, and the Maxi 3-seater sofa. A design icon revisited to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Maestri, and the introduction of the Milanese architect among the masters of Italian design.



Maralunga 50 is an international bestseller with warm and reassuring shapes, in which the possibility of movement of the backrest, the soft feel and the upholstery enhance its comfort, creating multiple interpretations. Maralunga 50 is characterised by the possibility of changing the height of the headrest thanks to the insertion of a simple bicycle chain in the foam: a mechanism patented by Cassina, which allows the immediate conversion of the backrest from low to high adjustment.
