New Japan is a refined rug designed by Chiara Andreatti for CC-Tapis. Made of Himalayan wool, available in two sizes.

The young Italian designer draws inspiration from the warm Japanese Ikat fabrics used in the early 19th century. New Japan is a reference to the nuances of the colors night, various shades of indigo - spanning with a soft blue to an ultramarine, to an almost black blue - combined with the sandy tones of raw Himalayan wool.

Chiara Andreatti is an Italian designer, born in Castelfranco Veneto in 1981. After studying at the IED in Milan and a master's degree at the Domus Academy, she begins to collaborate with Raffaella Mangiarotti, Renato Montagner and Lissoni Associati studio. His genius combines tradition and innovation of Made in Italy giving life to an unexpected and original design. Published in the most important world magazines, she boasts the victory of the IF Design Award in 2019 with the Loïe armchair created for Gebrüder Thonet.
