Nudo is a line of soft mask-shaped rugs. The colour block design is reminiscent of the design of the 70s. Designed by Sebastian Herkner, each of the colours used in these high-end rugs has a different pile height. The rugs are made of wool and manufactured in the Colombian city of Cajicá according to the traditional Colombian arts and crafts. Every single weave is woven manually. These high quality rugs offer superior comfort to the touch and illuminate any room. The products of the ames sala collection are mostly made with natural materials and produced in small traditional manufactures. Since each object is unique, there may be slight variations in size and colour.

A curious and diligent student of the University of Offenbach for the Arts and Design, Sebastian Herkner fell in love with new technologies combined with traditional craftsmanship. On this way, he develops a deep interest into materials, colors, textures and his care is visible in any detail. In 2006 he founds a studio in Offenbach and begins important collaborations with companies such as Moroso and ClassiCon. Herkner stands out for interesting interior design projects, exhibitions and museums, and his talent is rewarded with awards such as the German Design Award in 2011.
