Ginori 1735 Passeggiata Archeologica Plate on Black Background Designed by Gio Ponti

Passeggiata Archeologica is a collection of dishes designed by Gio Ponti and produced by Ginori 1735.

In this product, the architect Gio Ponti recovers the classicist inspiration of the Manufacture, which evokes the eighteenth-century taste of the travelers on the Grand Tour, but presumably also refers to the route, inaugurated in 1918, at the excavations in Rome and referred to as the Archaeological Walk. Ginori offers this decoration in both variants designed by Ponti, with a white background and a black background, to still be made with the decal technique that is applied in a single time. After firing the decal, for both decorations, we proceed with the gold thread made with a brush.
