Hee Welling and Gudmundur Ludvik founded their studio in 2010. Both artists are deeply rooted in Scandinavian design and craft traditions. The two met at the Danish Design School in Copenhagen. Hee Welling has a degree in Furniture Design, the same as Gudmundur Ludvik, who also has a background as a carpenter and sculptor. Welling/Ludvik brings their artistic perspectives together, resulting in designs that focus on materials and a respect for the environment.
