Reversível is an armchair designed by Martin Eisler for the Tacchini brand. Exclusive and unconventional, it won the Archiproducts Design Awards 2019 and the German Design Awards in 2021.

Reversível has a contemporary allure, and a design that expresses excellent quality in the materials used. A recognizable aesthetic punctuated by refined details. The re-edition of the Reversível armchair offers double comfort thanks to the seat that can be positioned in two ways, to use the armchair seated with an upright back, or in a more relaxed way in a semi-recumbent position, transversal to the backrest.

Designed by Martin Eisler

The designer Martin Eisler was born in Vienna in 1913, son of the renowned art historian Max Eisler, one of the founders of Austrian Werkbund. His culture expands while travelling and his design is extremely influenced by his experience in Brazil, a place that aroused his interest in exotic woods and varnishing and lacquering techniques on wood, glass and bronze. Among his most illustrious pieces, the elegant and informal Costela armchair, an icon of 1950s Brazilian design, and the dynamic Reversível armchair, today proudly reproduced by Tacchini.
