Smeralda Indoor is a collection of armchair, two-seater small sofa and pouf designed by Anna von Schewen for DePadova. Structure in steel tubing powder coated with polyesther paint and fabric-upholstered cushion.

Expressive and light, Smeralda shape now revisited is perfect as chair and ottoman. Smeralda comes from the desire to create a visually light, contemporary seat that would be extremely comfortable at the same time. The structure in gently curved steel is based on the typology of ancient Greek chairs, where the bent branches create soft, continuous curves.

Designer and Architect, she was born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1965, and she graduated from at the University of Art, Craft and Design in 1995. She explored the fields of architecture, furniture, product and exhibition design, with her concept focused on the combination of a pure Nordic flair and a deep research on materials, especially on textiles, aimed to produce useful, functional products.
