Tactile is a sofa designed by Vincenzo de Cotiis for Baxter. Chilean and fir plywood frame. Upholstery carried out with assembled leather bands with padding made of acrylic fiber.

Tactile is a sofa by an unusual aspect and contemporary charm. The beauty of the leather is enhanced by the linear pattern of the stitching and the curves of the design, that give to the whole project a visible and tactile sensation of softness and comfort.

Designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis

Vincenzo De Cotiis was born in 1958 in Gonzaga, Italy. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan and opened his own studio in 1997. Pioneer of international collecting, he creates handcrafted, unique projects in limited edition. He re-adopts ancient materials, marked by time and usure, and blends them with industrial or precious, raw or natural new materials, in a completely innovative way.
