Zanotta Tonietta Chair Designed by Enzo Mari

Tonietta is a chair designed by Enzo Mari and produced by the Zanotta brand. Polished or black painted aluminum alloy frame. Seat and back in polypropylene covered in cowhide 95, available in numerous finishes.

We have to go back to the mid-1980s, to be precise, it was 1985 when the Italian designer, in close collaboration with the Lombardy-based company, designed a new chair model that combined the simplicity of design with a technology that was unheard of at the time, aluminium die casting. Enzo Mari was inspired by the 'mother' of all modern, and later contemporary, chairs, namely the famous Thonet. Tonietta is a natural evolution of it, to adapt with refinement to the styles and environments of today's society.

In 1987, the Tonietta chair won the prestigious Compasso d'Oro Award, becoming a timeless and iconic element, perfect for furnishing private or contract spaces.
